WARE (We Are Recreating Existance) is the result of the audiovisual experimental laboratory Malnascudes Audiovisuals. As a collective, we created and performed a 1,20 hour long show that brought the concept of "the digital App" to the physical world. In the show we created different spaces with which the audience could interact.
The show could be described as a performance, as your mother, an interactive play, a bar, your teacher, your selfies, a whisper. WARE poses questions about our relationship with the internet and its devices, the intimacy we establish with them, the information we agree to give for free, and the ways we act as if we had a relationship of love, care and trust with these devices. It takes the shape of a multidisciplinary time-based piece where most of what the audience experiences is created by the audience interaction with the elements of the show.
WARE was premiered at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, on the 14th and 15th November 2019 to celebrate the end of our 6 months residency in the same location.
